A wonderful mountain hut at about 1,740 m between the Lavazè pass and Jochgrimm, with views of the Latemar, Rosengarten, Weisshorn and Schwarzhorn. For kids there's a cool playground with a sandbox in sight of the tables, plus a little petting zoo and the barn, where the cows have names instead of numbers. The kitchen serves traditional Alm food. The easiest family route starts at the Lavazè pass (free parking): take trail no. 9 past the little lake, across meadows and gently downhill through the woods to the hut, and come back the same way – about 5 km and 1 h 20 min there and back, with around 80 m of climbing. In winter there's a 4.2 km toboggan run. Heads-up for right now: according to the Eggental tourist board, Lieg Alm is closed from 19 Oct to 4 Dec 2026; from 5 Dec it's open daily 9:00–17:00 (hot food 11:30–14:30).
