Olperl's Mountain World on the Helm (Sexten/Vierschach)

At the top of the Helm lifts (over 2,000 m, reached from Sexten or Vierschach) a 1.5 km stroller-friendly loop with 10 stations about Alpine animals begins. It tells the legend of Olperl, a cheeky forest sprite with glowing eyes. There's also the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites at 2,150 m – with moss, spring water and views into the Three Peaks nature park. Daily 8:30–16:30 in autumn 2026.
