A flat loop of about one kilometre through the woods by the GEOPARC Bletterbach visitor centre – the family-friendly alternative to climbing down into the gorge. Nine stations tell the story of dinosaurs, ancient ferns, footprints in the rock and volcanoes around 260 million years ago. At the end there's the playground at the Lahneralm, a village-owned hut where you can eat. Opened in 2022.
